Bisetka has cultural significance in Armenia. It is associated with the tradition of spending leisure time in natural settings and appreciating the outdoors. They can also be a symbol of hospitality, as they provide a welcoming place for guests. The politics and aesthetics of Bisetka (hospitality, contemplation, openness) are juxtaposed with the politics Armenia is currently experiencing (blockade, expulsion, violence). Bisetkas are often used for family gatherings, small parties, or informal meetings. They provide a cozy and sheltered space for people to enjoy each other's company while being surrounded by the beauty of nature.

This project is an outcome of observations and making connections. It proposes an open, living, decentralized concept of culture, involvement and discussion. The politics and aesthetics of Bisetka (hospitality, contemplation, openness) are juxtaposed with the politics Armenia is currently experiencing (blockade, expulsion, violence).
